About the project
Concrete Structures and Floors Ltd were contracted by JG Francis Construction to complete the replacement of 10,500sqm of reinforced concrete floor slab in Shed 11 at Associated British Ports' Newport Dock in South Wales. Separated into 10 pours, we installed 600mm shutter to separate each pour and 2 layers of A393 reinforcement mesh. An anti-dusting sealant was applied after each slab had been powerfloated to create an extremely durable finish.
